CHRISEF-CARE FOUNDATION is a Ghanaian NGO that seek the well being of the women, Children, orphans, and the aged. Chrisef-care is a community-builder delivering resources for children, orphans, women and the aged. We partner with young people, families, schools, communities and organizations to create enabling environment programmes and support structures for children, orphans, aged and Women. Chrisef-Care Foundation has partner with Keb Strategic Services and the Member of Parliament for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira (Hon. Lawyer Wireku Brobby Bright) to create 34 groups within the district with about 1200 membership on the program Livelihood dubbed Women Economic empowerment where we train business women on financial literacy.
Education is very crucial in every human being live and, for a country to develop education plays an important role. This is the reason why Chrisef-care foundation is keen on Education. It is centered on girl-child education through interventions across early, primary, secondary, adult, digital, sports and civic. Our programmes address all stages of life, including imparting soft-skills that are needed for better quality of life. Chrisef-care Foundation invests in innovative, technology-led education for children, youth and adults and promotes education that is gender transformative, inclusive for all and respects safe spaces for children.
However, a majority of the 100 million children not in school worldwide are girls, and at secondary school level in Africa, far fewer girls than boys complete their education. Figures from Benin, Ivory Coast and Ethiopia show that less than 60 girls per 100 boys are currently enrolled in second level education. In Ghana, the average girl in Ghana only receives four years of education. Early marriage, pregnancy, poverty, and sexual harassment are all obstacles that force girls to drop out of school before the end of junior high. With this Chrisef-care foundation will partner with various stakeholders in the various school combat such obstacles and make school friendly for all girls in the country. Send girls who dropped out of school for one reason or the other back to school through its support intervention. As the saying goes if you educate a man you educate one person but if you Education a Woman you education a nation. Chrisef-care foundation will partner both private and public school to undertake this course to help us achieve our vision and mission of establishing Chrisef-care foundation. Apart from Girl Child Education Chrisef-care will support other educational program within the country and help ensure education with the country is distributed equally without any bias. Chrisef-care foundation will support basic Education in Ghana especially school in the rural communities. This program aims at establishing strong school-community partnerships to address poor performance in public Basic Schools. The following are some of the key strategies/activities that will be pursued under the programme: • Community study centres- where Students can study and complete their school assignments. Volunteers offer one-on-one and group support as needed, while monitoring the students’ overall progress. • Strengthening Parent-Teacher Associations and School Management Committees. • Career Guidance and Counseling services. • Reading Clubs.

This program is centered on teenager. A teenager is young person who is developing into an adult and this is between the ages of 12 and 19 years. Unicare Foundation will have series of programs around this area to help the young girls grow in their desire state. Chrisef-care will educate them on sexual and reproductive health and right where they will know what to do to prevent teenage pregnancy, unsafe abortion, STI and practice safe sex. Under the health program there will be program to support the aged and the orphan where we will organize and screen all aged, visit the orphan and give them the necessary attention. Chrisef-care foundation will identify the various aged and orphanage home within the district in which we operate and group them as one. We will also pay attention to their immediate needs and provide it to them through our support program. Most of the orphanage homes and the aged in Ghana lack many of this basic needs such as food, water, shelter, health and many more, as Chrisef-care foundation vision say we will help them feel they are more precious and lucky to be at the orphanage homes and aged as well. We will house and probably have education inclusive at the orphanage homes and have adult education for the aged. We intend having about 200 of these groups across the country and have intensify programs for them.
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. Over the course of your life, if you experience mental health problems, your thinking, mood, and behavior could be affected. Many factors contribute to mental health problems, including: • Biological factors, such as genes or brain chemistry • Life experiences, such as trauma or abuse • Family history of mental health problems Chrisef will develop a project that brings awareness of Mental Health issues and how to deal or manage it to the communities.
This program seeks to address the challenges of youth unemployment and poverty by providing the youth with opportunities for career development through education, mentorship, soft and hard skills training, entrepreneurship, and employment. Beneficiaries of the Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Development program are Youth aged 16-35 who are already engaged in some form of informal employment or apprenticeship such as artisans, entrepreneurs, apprentices, hawkers, or are totally unemployed and are desirous of gaining formal employment or entrepreneurship opportunities. This program is design to empower women in the area of financial aspect of their business. The name of the project is called village savings and loans association where women are group together and give them education on how to save. We will visit rural communities where bankers and other financial institution fail to go. Chrisef-care foundation will mobilize those people especially women and give them education on financial aspect of life by helping them to cultivate the habit of savings. Upon successful mobilization we will them selection among themselves to lead the group created. We do this to make the group very effective and discipline. The leaders together with the members will agree on the amount to pay weekly and also the day to meet for meeting. Chrisef-care foundation together with the group will draft a constitution for the group in which all regulation regarding the groups will be spelt out. This will make the groups created very effective and who ever joins the group will have a happy family.
This are trainings that will help women within our catchment area in which we operate. We will train them on several vocational skills such as bead making, liquid soap making, sowing, etc to help them make money and support their family.
We will organize women and train them on how to keep their finances in relation business to help them expand their business and link them financial institutions for support.
We will empower women to acquire certain skill to help them gain some employable skills such as leadership quality, communication skills, etc
